GROUNDED IMPACT
Grounded Impact works alongside Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, not-for-profits, and government to co-create strategy, projects, and evaluation grounded in Country, relationships, and lived realities.
We acknowledge Country as living, breathing, and sovereign, and recognise the Traditional Custodians who have cared for these places since time immemorial.
We walk with respect and gratitude on unceded Aboriginal lands.
What We Do
We co-create and support work across the full project journey — from early ideas and strategy through to delivery, evaluation, and workforce development. Our work is shaped by place, guided by relationships, and accountable to the communities involved.
-
Clear, practical strategies and project plans that support strong governance, shared ownership, and delivery on the ground.
-
Hands-on support to establish, coordinate, and strengthen projects, helping teams move from intent to action while navigating complexity along the way.
-
Culturally responsive evaluation frameworks and reporting that meet ethical standards, including the AIATSIS Code of Ethics, and support learning, improvement, and decision-making.
-
Desktop and field research that clarifies gaps, strengthens funding and policy arguments, and supports system and service improvement.
-
Tailored training, mentoring, and tools that build internal capability so teams can confidently lead engagement, projects, and evaluation over time.
Our Approach
Our work begins with listening. We take the time to understand place, context, and relationships, and to honour the knowledge that already exists within community.
We don’t arrive with templates. We co-create ways of working that are culturally safe, relational, and grounded — while also being rigorous, strategic, and forward-looking. This balance supports outcomes that are credible, practical, and meaningful on the ground.
See Our Work
We share selected projects and stories to show how our approach looks in practice, and how grounded strategy and evaluation can support real change.
Nyiyaparli Health and Wellbeing Project
A community-led initiative grounded in culture, Country, and self-determination.
Supporting the Ngaringga Ngurra Healing Program
Refining and strengthening an emerging program model that was already grounded in local leadership and women’s voices.
