Our Work
Guided by respect, grounded in relationships.
We acknowledge and thank the Elders, communities, and organisations who have invited us into their work and trusted us to walk alongside them.
Every project belongs first to the people and places it serves. We honour community leadership, knowledge, and generosity, and take seriously the responsibility that comes with being invited in.
How Our Work Takes Shape
Our work is grounded in relationships — built on trust, invitation, and shared purpose. Each project reflects the strengths, priorities, and aspirations of the communities and organisations we work alongside.
We bring together different strands of practice across the full project journey. These strands are woven together in response to place, context, and need, creating work that is practical, culturally grounded, and useful on the ground.
What We Do
We co-create and support work across the full project journey — from early ideas and strategy through to delivery, evaluation, and workforce development. Our work is shaped by place, guided by relationships, and accountable to the communities involved.

Our Projects
Our work has included partnerships with Hedland Women’s Refuge, Juluwarlu Group Aboriginal Corporation, Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, Marputu Aboriginal Corporation, Ngarringa Ngurra Aboriginal Corporation, Pilbara Family and Domestic Violence Network, and the Western Australian Council of Social Service.
Nyiyaparli Health and Wellbeing Project
Grounded Impact is honoured to walk alongside Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) in delivering the Nyiyaparli Health and Wellbeing Project, a community-led initiative grounded in culture, Country, and self-determination.
Supporting the Ngaringga Ngurra Healing Program
Our role focused on refining and strengthening an emerging program model that was already grounded in local leadership and women’s voices. Through targeted workshops and practical working sessions with staff, we helped clarify the program’s purpose, structure, and intended outcomes.
